Up in pink lights, the frilly drape lifts,

and where will u be tomorrow for this evening you are not u, he is not he and the whole world evolves around the footlights and the players and their costumes, make-up hair, etc! You remember you are not you but some enchanting fairy princess out for a night on the town, everyone knows you, your name and history, can't wait til they meet you and greet u until the next day, when work overload has you in a bind and grind, to complete til the next fri for the movies and sat another play? perhaps? Hope so!

Then the curtains fall in deep purple velvet splendor.

you have your ticket, and your looks are great....

but will your date make it to the play or not? Should u go in by yourself, use the one ticket and gave the other one away or sell it?

Dependent upon how pricey is the ticket and theatre, say if one play stooped you for over $50.00, then do so feel free to sell it for a little less or as much as the price you paid, beforehand, which I take it you bought a week ahead or a month ahead, just so that u know not make it a habit, and become a scalper.

If said person stands you up frequently discontinue buying an extra ticket for him/her or tell said person they must try at least to show up and on time if at all possible.  don't feel you need to should the full burden on to yourself for these constant slights.

In the end it is you yourself whom pays for it . so don't if you know what you are doing, just go alone, in the meantime find someone who is more responsible.

and as always dress for the ocassion, and show your support too by buying at the local theatre of your choice.

so most defineately enjoy the show, don't drink and drive and stay afloat with upcoming events and productions at the playhouse. have fun and be theatrical!

Up In pink lights....

and as the scene is cast, the lights go on slowly, the curtain rises and the applause begins to thunder and resonate inside the small local hometime and very quaint theatre where the actors whom are beginning their career, improse, improve, polish and show their mass appeal with just one look, one word, one sigh, as the moment lingers on you think to yourself" Awesome! I am so glad I joined as a member or a volunteer of this playhouse.

for whatever reason you may have, u are at the utmost of your tipp-toe attention, who will be next onstage and how great will their performance be, natural and comedic, or highly dramatized by the extreme lure of the play...only time will tell as the essence of the clicking clock presides over it all!

Now as the lights dim, the play is over, the actors have left the stage, as the curtains all decked in lavender begin to fall and close out another chapter of the stage production of which you yourself chose.

the world of theatrics, and all that apply

Is mostly just you and your love of entertainment and the arts. To be in a world of culture and at ease with such. to break away from your real life and excape into the unknown, whatever that may be.

Take in theatre and afterwards go to a cafe for some hot herbal tea, finger sandwiches and delectable sweet delights.

Tell em Delephine sent you!

Of course....
